Pohl Dental Studio Inc. is a dental practice established early in 2018 by duo medical couple, Migael & Marieke Pohl. The practice promotes oral health & hygiene and puts a focus on patient comfort, ensuring a pleasant visit for people of all ages.

The Pohl Story

 

Pohl Dental Studio Inc. was born while two dentists were busy completing their community service year in Grahamstown. The opportunity to take over apractice from a retiring dentist in East London came up and business and dentistry met. Pohl Dental Studio has two practices and opened its doors 02 January 2018 in Vincent, East London expanded by opening a branch in Crossways Village Center in March 2019.

 

It is run by a husband and wife duo, Drs. Migael and Marieke Pohl. Their aim is to provide quality dental service in a comfortable and relaxed environment. They value family and therefore are a family – orientated practice providing treatment to all ages.

 

Pohl Dental Studio encourages education and therefore continually strive to improve and expand its own knowledge in the dental field by attending various dental courses. A wide spectrum of dental work is carried out daily and he strives to provide quality dental care to the community of East London
and beyond.

Orthodontics is the branch of dentistry that focuses on correcting bites, occlusion, and the alignment of teeth.
Sedation
We offer dental treatment under Conscious Sedation in the chair. This is used for children where needed as well as the anxious and nervous adult patient.

Dr. Migael Pohl
Our Dentist -

Dr. Migael Pohl was raised in East London. He studied in Cape Town and has been back in East London since January 2018. He loves the outdoors and constantly takes on new adventures.

Sharon Fossati
Dental Assistant -

Sharon was born in East London and has lived in East London her whole life. She is kind-hearted and very hard working with more than 40 years’ experience as a dental assistant making her a core pillar of the Pohl Dental Studio team.

Linda Hermann
Administration Manager -

Linda grew up and lived in Pretoria. She made the wise decision to move to our beautiful town 10 years ago and has never looked back. There is no task to big or small for Linda. She truly is our ‘go-to-girl’ for any administrative challenges.
Antoinette
Antoinette
Dental Assistant -

Antionette is the newest member of the Pohl dental studio family. She is originally from PE but made the move to East London 17 years ago. With her many years of experience, she currently makes sure that the Crossways practice runs smoothly. She will be the friendly voice on the other side of the phone if you make an appointment at Crossways.
